Diet drinks are said to help reduce obesity, but now a study by experts has revealed that people who drink diet drinks will be more likely to be obese.

According to The Sun, experts say that Diet Coke, Diet Pepsi, and other diet drinks do not really help in weight loss, but drinking these drinks in reverse weight gain.

Researchers at Zhengzhou University in China analyzed 20 years of medical data from one million people and compared their diet with their drinking habits.

Professor Kathleen Page, head of the research team "Drinking drinks with artificial sweeteners probably deceives the brain and makes the body feel constantly hungry, which results in people overeating and becoming obese," he said.
