Zika Virus
The Zika virus, which has spread to China, Europe, and Latin America, has so far been found in the Caribbean, and North and South America. According to a report, the disease has spread to 23 countries, including Brazil, Mexico, China, Israel, Denmark, and India. Precautionary measures are being taken in Nizan countries to prevent this dangerous virus.
In many countries, pregnant women are barred from traveling to epidemics where the epidemic has spread. According to a recent report, more than 2,000 babies have been born in small and large hospitals in Brazil who are slightly smaller than the rest of the body and are unable to develop with other parts of the body.
According to medical research, when this mosquito bites pregnant women, the newborn baby can be infected with a disease called microcephaly, which can lead to brain development. I must have seen the rats of Shah Dola at the shrines.
Zika virus is reportedly caused by the bite of a mosquito called Aedes. It is a type of mosquito that causes the dengue virus. It attacks during the day, not at night like a normal mosquito. This dangerous mosquito called Aedes breeds in clean standing water in homes. It lays its eggs in contaminated water and drainage.
Just as the dengue mosquito breeds in clean water, so does the Zika virus mosquito. According to the WHO report, there is no evidence of the Pune virus in Pakistan yet, but this does not mean that we should be completely unafraid of this threat.
As in the past, diseases like swine flu, dengue, and AIDS have been called Western diseases and no strategy and special precautionary measures have been taken to prevent these diseases.
When these diseases took root in our country, then precautionary measures were advised. Therefore, we desperately need to run precautionary advertisements in electronic and print media to prevent this disease, because it is a myth that precaution is better than remorse.
Symptoms
The most common symptoms of the Zika virus are high fever, scratches, red spots, headache, heaviness, joint muscle and muscle pain, eye irritation and itching (conjunctivitis), severe pain in the eyelids in some patients And symptoms such as loss of appetite also appear.
These symptoms can be from any other disease such as dengue fever, chicken pox, and any other disease, so the diagnosis can be made only after having a blood test as directed by the doctor.
The Zika virus is usually transmitted from one person to another by mosquito bites. The Zika virus spreads by biting an infected person and attacking another healthy person.
Treatment
So far no vaccine has been developed to prevent the Zika virus. Therefore, medical experts recommend medicine to provide complete relief to the person suffering from this virus, drinking as much water as possible and relieving fever and pain. Aspirin and other anti-inflammatory drugs are contraindicated.
Precautions
Like other viruses such as dengue and malaria, it is important to avoid mosquitoes to stay safe from the Zika virus. Keep clean water containers, tanks, tanks, and drums in the house covered. Clean water should not be allowed to stand in the house at all.
Window doors should be closed in the evening or nets should be put on them so that mosquitoes cannot enter the house.
Apply mosquito repellent on exposed parts of the body and use a mosquito net for infants. Spray mosquito repellent regularly at home and be sure to burn mats or coils.
