Dilation of vessels when blood flow increases are called the FMD process. Scientists have also reported that its wonderful positive effects on the heart become noticeable only two hours after eating cranberry.

That is, within 120 minutes of eating cranberries, the body's FMD status improves. It should be noted that the FMD scale is also used to identify cardiovascular diseases.

According to a report published in the journal Food and Function, eating plantains strengthens the heart and essentially widens and improves the heart's arteries.


It improves the overall function of the heart. According to experts, cranberry contains several types of flavonoids and polyphenols that have a magical effect overall.

The study was led by Professor Christian Hayes, a cardiologist at the University of Surrey. They say that the habit of eating cranberry benefits the blood vessels and veins throughout the body.

The polyphenols present in it make this possible. Experts have emphasized that they have also advised consuming more fruits and vegetables.
